This Privacy Policy explains how FinaSquare LLC ("FinaSquare," "we," "us," or "our"), the company that operates StockSight, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the StockSight mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — such as your name and email address when you create an account.
• Usage data — interactions with the Service, including searches, features used, and session activity.
• Device information — device type, operating system, and app version, used for diagnostics and compatibility.
• Payment information — handled by the Apple App Store; we do not collect or store your full payment card details.
• Research content — research questions and conversation content you submit to the Research assistant, and any saved research memory or preferences you ask us to remember. See Section 4.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
• Personalize your experience and remember your preferences;
• Send account and service emails, such as password recovery, security notices, and subscription updates. We do not enroll you in promotional email campaigns when you create an account or sign in with Apple or Google;
• Monitor usage, detect abuse, and ensure reliability;
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, customer support), bound by confidentiality obligations;
• Email delivery providers process your email address and the account or subscription information needed to deliver service messages, along with delivery and bounce information. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, messages are addressed to your Apple relay address;
• Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights and users;
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. AI-Assisted Research

The Research feature uses a third-party artificial-intelligence service to generate research responses. We ask for your explicit permission in the app before any of the information described here is transmitted, and you can withdraw that permission at any time.

What is transmitted. When you use Research, we transmit your research questions and relevant conversation context, your device's time zone and screen class (phone or tablet), and, where relevant to a personalized response, information associated with your account such as your name, your watchlists and portfolio holdings, and any saved research memory or preferences (for example, an investment mandate you have stated or a company you have told us you are following).

Who receives it. This information is transmitted to the AI models we use, which are provided by third-party AI providers including Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI, solely to generate and support the requested research response. We do not ask these providers to retain conversations for later use, and we do not use your research questions or conversation content to train AI models. Each provider processes this information under its API terms of service; as with our other service providers (Section 3), we require appropriate privacy and security protections for information processed on our behalf.

Supporting infrastructure. To answer a research question, our backend may also run parts of the request through supporting services we operate or contract for: a secure code sandbox that is isolated per account, a web-search service, and a search index of public company documents. These services receive the portions of the request needed to perform their step.

Your permission and how to withdraw it. Before your first research request, StockSight presents this disclosure and asks for your explicit permission. If you decline, nothing is transmitted and Research stays unavailable until you allow it. You can turn AI Data Sharing off at any time in Profile & Settings → AI Data Sharing; turning it off blocks Research until you turn it back on. Withdrawing permission does not delete conversations already stored with your account; you can delete conversations in the app or delete your account (Section 7).

Accuracy. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for informational purposes only. It is not financial advice.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Third-Party Links and Data

The Service may reference or link to third-party data sources and websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service.
